Image that faces us and turns away
Open curtain seat waiting for occupant
8x6 4 months Ilse modernist weaving in Aukland
It is a pity the artist who made this is not on or near them
"Special work" remained in it's location for a decade before the gallery had renovations.
Today kept in a storage facility in long rolls.
The relationship is a trope between archive and curtain.
They act in the same way, their sameness is irrevocable
When encountered in this way as a relation to another they both rely on movement to function
a curtain that doesn't move is a wall like an archive that doesn't move is a cupboard.
Relation that produces it's own taxonomy.
This relationship produces a mirror.
This mirror is an object casting
shadows through which others can pass.
Poodle
Daniel Burin
Jeff Coralius 5 min. 40 sec untitled short film
Subsuming the body into obliteration
through a repetition body that breaks a language
Objective thing and subjective structure interfere through a subjective person
implicated objects and bodies act through each other.
Power could be rerouted.
Conversion II objectivity, into the conditions of ones subjectivity,
subjecting the subject to movement moving.
Why is it impossible to look at organizational systems with cool distance
the desire for one on one relations remains pervasive.
The potentiality of art lies here.
It's curt ability to recalibrate the complex processes of exchange
Intractable no touching.
